Build fast, adapt faster. I treat every plan as a hypothesis: ship the smallest real version, put it in front of reality, and let what happens redraw the map. Speed isn't the point — learning rate is. The sooner a thing gets real, the sooner it can teach you what it actually wants to be.
Most of what I'm proud of started as something I wasn't qualified to build yet, and the gap always closes the same way: start, watch closely, adjust. It's the same loop in every room I spend time in — a long run finding its pace, a DJ set reading the floor, a recipe surviving contact with dinner guests. Make the thing respond to the room it's actually in.
